Sierra Madre Homes
Employing an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" attitude, Sierra Madre has also never bothered to install traffic signals in town, and still supports the last remaining volunteer fire department in the outlying Los Angeles area. Sierra Madre is also home to "Adams' Pack Station," the last remaining pack station in Southern California.
Real estate in Sierra Madre mainly consists of single family homes and townhomes ranging in price from about $450,000 to upwards of $2 million. The median sales price for a home in Sierra Madre is $650,000.

Sierra Madre is served by the Pasadena Unified School District and nearby schools include the Sierra Madre Elementary School and the Pasadena High School.
