Ted Clark is a successful Pasadena-area realtor for a variety of reasons. But one attribute that stands out as essential to this success is his highly-developed appreciation for quality. He has great vision for a property’s potential and he knows what he likes. He’s adept at tuning in to his client’s preferences and delivering that which appeals to them.
And that’s because even before Ted became a licensed realtor some 20 years ago, he was a student of design, architecture and landscape. His appreciation for a thoughtfully created garden space or a tastefully decorated living room was developed over a lifetime spent among the wonderful homes of the Altadena and Pasadena areas where he was raised. It’s this intimate knowledge and careful observation of every part of this territory that gives Ted—and his clients—an advantage in this market.
Ted spent the early part of his career with Coldwell Banker. After 10 years, he helped launch and grow the Pasadena branch of Prudential California, where’s he’s been the number one agent for much of the last decade. His success with the company has placed him in the top 1% of all Prudential realtors nationwide. Ted is a Designated Luxury Property Specialist with Prudential; one of just 200 such agents in Southern California.
He has accomplished all of this while maintaining an impeccable reputation among his colleagues. He possesses the assertive personality necessary to negotiate the best for his clients but also the affable disposition essential to cultivating important relationships both short term and long. Ted has many friends in Pasadena-area real estate and many clients who have become friends as a result of working together.
That’s because Ted goes above and beyond to deliver what his clients need. His cutting-edge marketing and advertising campaigns are the best in the business, and he’s always looking for new and better ways to create exposure. His influence in the community ensures that his properties remain desirable and high profile. He has terrific resources and ideas about how to create buzz around his listings and the visual sensibility to make certain they deliver.
When Ted isn’t hosting an open house or closing an escrow in Pasadena, he enjoys spending quality time with his two dogs, Shelly and Riley, or riding his mountain bike through the hills of Santa Barbara.
Marketing Assistant
Every accomplished business needs a dedicated and enthusiastic staff. Jose Lara joined Ted Clark and Partners at age 18 and quickly developed an indispensible role for himself within the group. Jose became a licensed realtor just one year later and currently he handles much of the important detail work critical to the partnership’s success.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jose began learning web design in middle school. He developed a keen interest in technology and utilizes both skills to help create the forward-thinking marketing campaigns in which Ted Clark and Partners specializes. Jose keeps current on emerging internet trends and particularly how they relate to real estate.
Along with everyone at Ted Clark and Partners, Jose prides himself on exceptional client relations. He’s dedicated to providing whatever is needed to satisfy each and every buyer and seller. It’s his goal to exceed client expectation, and it’s this commitment in particular that makes Jose such a valuable member of the team.
